Happy Rakshabandhan💯🖤

Raksha Bandhan, a festival of protection and Bonding. As  “ Raksha” means protection, and “ Bandhan” means to tie. But where there is written that the bond should be between brother sister only.

In older times , boys were treated as more powerful, as being the man of the family it was their duty to guard the family and maybe that's why this ritual came to be known as the symbol of a brother-sister festival. But things have changed, tyres have rolled and new boundaries have been set up.

I can say the actual meaning of this festival is to celebrate the bond with those who try their best to keep them safe and happy. The ones who make efforts to prevent them from any danger. 

For me, I can say this day is about my sister and the bond we share. There have been many times when she stood for me when everyone failed to think about, protected from evils ( in real though) , took care of me like my second mother and performed expressively well in the field of protection and care. She protected me , even better a brother can, saved me from parents aggressive looks , performed her role even as my bestfriend , though sometimes she makes me hate her, but she never fails to earn my love because for her my love is everlasting.

So a Happy Rakshabandhan to my elder sister♥️
